Throughout her coaching career, Natasha has developed athletes who have achieved outstanding results at the provincial, regional, national and international levels, including:

  • Western Canadian Champions
  • Canadian National Champion (2014)
  • Three Canadian National Team athletes
  • Four High Performance athletes
  • BC Individual Champions

Natasha holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from the Moscow Academy of Sport (1981–1985), as well as a Master of Sport Degree in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Her expertise extends well beyond the gymnastics floor. Natasha was also a certified instructor and international fitness trainer, and from 1986–1996, she served as the author and host of multiple fitness programs on Russian National Television.

Combining elite athletic experience, extensive coaching expertise, and a deep passion for athlete development, Natasha is dedicated to helping every gymnast build strong technical foundations, confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for rhythmic gymnastics.

Ania has been a part of Club Planet Rhythmics since it opened its doors in 2000, and has helped create the positive reputation the club has gained over the years

  • Former National level rhythmic gymnast of Club Planet Rhythmics
  • 20 years of experience in coaching
  • Head Coach of Team Canada at 2017 Maccabi Games in Israel
  • Routine choreographer with a specialty in artistic freehand routines

Her favorite parts of coaching? Choreographing routines and competition days! She loves putting together routines that match each gymnast’s personality and seeing all their hard work come to life on the competition floor.

For Ania, rhythmic gymnastics is about so much more than perfecting skills. It's about connecting with the kids and using the safe space she creates to motivate her athletes.

What she loves most about coaching is the children and the positive environment they create together—one built on support, love, and care.
She believes every child can grow when they feel supported and believed in. Her favorite moments are seeing gymnasts come out of their shells, build confidence, and overcome challenges.
For Veronika, coaching is about more than skills—it’s about making every child feel valued, confident, and cared for.

Liza Piskunov

Liza Piskunov

With 11 years of experience as a rhythmic gymnast, Coach Liza brings a wealth of high-level competitive experience and leadership to her coaching.

Her achievements include:

  • Team Canada member for 3 consecutive years
  • Captain of Team Canada for the 2024–2025 season
  • AA Silver Medalist at the 2025 Pan American Championships
  • Bronze Medalist at the 2023 Pan American Championships (Ribbons & Balls)
  • Competed at multiple World Cups and World Challenge Cups

Coach Liza’s experience at the national and international level gives her a unique perspective on the sport, allowing her to help gymnasts develop their skills, confidence, and competitive mindset.
