A playful introduction to movement, music, and rhythmic gymnastics! Through fun games, dance, music, and creative activities, little gymnasts will explore rhythm, coordination, and body awareness. Classes are designed to build confidence, encourage creativity, and help young gymnasts develop a love for movement in a fun and welcoming environment.

The first step into the world of rhythmic gymnastics! Participants will learn the foundations of the sport through creative movement, music, basic body skills, and introductory apparatus handling. Classes focus on building coordination, balance, flexibility, and confidence in a positive and supportive environment. Gymnasts will showcase their skills in a group routine at our winter and summer shows.

In their second year of training, athletes continue developing flexibility, acrobatics, gymnastics body technique, and basic apparatus skills. Gymnasts will showcase their skills in a group routine at our winter and summer shows and perform duo freehand routines at 1–2 club-level events. Assessment required.

A specially designed program for gymnasts who are new to rhythmic gymnastics and beginning their training at age 7 or older. Building the foundation of the sport through rhythmic movement, focusing on basic body skills, coordination, and introductory apparatus handling. Gymnasts will practice performing by showcasing their skills in a group routine at our winter and summer shows.

In their second year of training in the interclub program, gymnasts continue developing their foundational skills in rhythmic gymnastics, including movement and rhythm, apparatus handling, and acrobatics. Gymnasts will showcase their skills in a group routine at our winter and summer shows and perform one individual apparatus routine at 1–2 club-level competitions.

Gymnasts in Levels 1A and 1B are developing their skills and preparing for their first competitive experiences. Training focuses on refining rhythmic gymnastics technique, apparatus handling, flexibility, body skills, and performance confidence. Gymnasts will have the opportunity to participate in 2–3 club and invitational competitions with an individual freehand and rope routine across Greater Vancouver where they are not individually ranked, but still gain valuable experience in a competitive environment. Gymnasts in Levels 2A, 2B, and 3A are ready to compete and will continue developing their technical skills, performance quality, and confidence in competition. Each gymnast will compete with two routines: an individual free routine and one apparatus routine using rope, ball, or hoop. Gymnasts will participate in 3–4 club and invitational competitions across British Columbia, and may be selected by the club to compete at BC Provincial Championships. Gymnasts will also participate in two shows with group performances. Registration after assessment

Gymnasts in Levels 2C, 3B (BC), 4A, 5A, 6A compete with three routines: an individual free routine and one/two apparatus routines. Gymnasts will participate in 5-6 club and invitational competitions across British Columbia, and BC Provincial Championships. Gymnasts will also participate in two shows with group performances. Gymnasts in levels 3BW, 3C, 4B, 4C, 5B, 5C, 6B, 6C compete with three individual routines with the full variety of apparatus. Gymnasts will participate in 7-9 club and invitational competitions across Western Canada, including BC Provincial Championships and Western Regional championships. Gymnasts will also participate in two shows with group performances. Registration after assessment

Gymnasts in pre-novice, novice, junior FIG, senior FIG levels compete with 4 individual routines. Gymnasts will participate in 10-11 events per season - invitational competitions (nationally and internationally) BC Provincials, Western Regional championships and may qualify for Canadian National Championships and Elite Canada. Gymnasts will also participate in two shows with group performances.

Your match

Before joining any sport, boys benefit from learning basic gymnastics movements and developing a strong physical foundation. They will learn rolls, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, planks, rope jumping, and balance. General coordination, body awareness, strength, balance, and flexibility will help boys develop better control of their bodies and progress faster in any sport they choose later on. This class is available at the Burnaby location only

Your match

Additional flexibility training is in high demand in sports such as figure skating, ballroom dancing, and dance. Our rhythmic gymnastics coaches will share the flexibility techniques and expertise developed through one of the most flexible sports. Athletes will learn safe, gymnastics-based stretching techniques to improve leg and back mobility, flexibility, and range of motion. A great way to help athletes move better, improve their technique, and become more flexible like us! This class is available at the Burnaby location only.
